New to 9a music for 2012 is Charlina, a 24-year old female singer-songwriter from Cologne, who seems to live and breathe only for music. Her songs are a convincing mix of emotional pop ballads, catchy, powerful hooklines and groovy beats, usually only heard in American soul, r&b, hip hop, dancehall or reggae. Her honest lyrics are about her passion for music, about love, despair, self-doubts, shattered hopes and how you can get up again and fight for your goals.

I was born in England in the south east town of Colchester (for those who are not familiar with the geography of the UK , Colchester lies in the south east (East Anglia) about 80 km from London to the north east and a minutes from the the coast.
